Shoe Collections from Spain present best footwear collections for autumn-winter 2011/12 in Tokyo
The exhibition will be held from 2 to 4 Februaryat the city’s famous Modapolitica venue.
Shoe Collections from Spain returns to Tokyo to present the best footwear collections for autumn-winter 2011/12. Twenty-three Spanish footwear companies will be taking part, including KANNA (Pavilion: MODAPOLITICA).
Companies will offer a sneak preview of their forthcoming designs for the autumn-winter 2011/12 season before the full collections are presented at the international shows MICAM, WSA and GDS.
Modapolitica is in the heart of Minami Aoyama, one of the Japanese capital’s top shopping districts and a hub for leading luxury brands. Shoe Collections from Spain is an exclusive exhibition, open only to top buyers and importers and select members of the trade press.
Japan is a key market for Spanish top-end footwear, both because of its consumers’ disposable income and their high levels of consumption, and the country is twelfth on the Spanish footwear league table. In the first ten months of 2010, Spanish footwear exports for this market rose to €20.1 million, up 5% on the same period in 2009.
